In Paul Slabolepszy’s BITTER WINTER, a heart-warming tribute to the giants of South African stage and screen, legendary classical actor, 75 year old Jean-Louis Lourens, and a young up-and-coming TV star, Prosper Mangane, meet at an audition for the movie SIX GUNS AT SESRIEM. As the two actors from vastly different cultures prepare for the arrival of the hot-shot American director, they unpack their creative journeys and discover they have much to learn from each other. The brand new play is directed by Lesedi Job and stars Andre Odendaal, Oarabile Ditsele and Chantal Stanforth.
